We expect you between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., but you’re welcome to drop off your bags and enjoy the park starting at 3:00 p.m.

• Unfortunately, we can’t let you check in any earlier because there are always two uncertainties: whether there will be guests in the morning and the condition of the cottage when they leave.
  
  
• A late arrival is possible; please let us know so we can make arrangements to welcome you.
  
  
• P.S.: If you run into any unexpected delays on the way, please let us know :)  

Montintin is located in the heart of the Fayat Forest; it can be reached via Château-Chervix or Magnac-Bourg.

GPS apps (including Waze) still have the address of the old entrance saved in their memory, which is now in the middle of our neighbor’s fir forest! 🌲🌲

That’s why we invite you to follow one of the two methods below to reach the entrance to our path:

2 options using your GPS:

• Enter “Château-Chervix” into your GPS, and once you arrive in the village, click this link Maps (selecting the route via the D70 and Les Barrières de Briand).
  When you reach the red gate, take the path lined with stone walls on the left.
  
  
• Head straight for this Google Maps location to arrive in front of the red gate
  
  

"Paper map" option:

1. Exit the A20 at Magnac-Bourg (Exit 41)
2. Drive to Château-Chervix
3. Take the D70 to the pond with the children’s playground.
4. 600 meters past the pond, turn left onto the Landes municipal road
5. Continue straight ahead
6. At the red gate, turn left onto the path lined with stone walls.
   
   In conclusion: Montintin is worth the effort! And Montintin will reward you handsomely :)

The rooms will be made up for your arrival with sheets and pillows.

We can change the sheets during your stay (€20 per bed to be made up). 

We’re in the countryside, where stores close early and are sometimes closed on Sundays and Mondays. To make your arrival easier, we offer to pick up your online grocery order at the Intermarché in Magnac-Bourg (on your arrival day only—cost: €20).

To do this:

1. Place your order online on the Intermarché website and select the “Magnac-Bourg” store.
2. Schedule your curbside pickup for the morning of your arrival (before 11 a.m.).
3. Send us the pickup slip at [email protected].
4. Your groceries will be waiting for you at your cottage upon arrival.

We have two beautiful ponds on the property where you can go fishing, enjoy the view, or take a walk...

They are not fenced off, so please keep a close eye on your children.

Waste sorting is mandatory in Château-Chervix, and unsorted trash may not be picked up or could even result in a fine in cases of noncompliance.

We appreciate your cooperation in sorting your trash. You can then drop it off at the recycling station of your choice. Thank you!

The cottage is heated before your arrival so that you’ll arrive to a cozy home.

Marie-Antoinette & La Pommeraie

Firewood for the stove is provided, and an electricity allowance covering lighting and appliances is included (20 kWh/day).Electric heating is at your expense, based on your usage (estimated at 60–70€ in the middle of winter). Payment is due by check or cash: we’ll read the electricity meter together upon your arrival and departure.

La Maison du Potager and La Maison des Bois

Heating is provided by heating oil, and we have estimated consumption at 15€/day at the Potager and 20€/day at the Maison des Bois. This amount is to be paid by check or cash upon your departure.

The Stables

These are only available for rent in the summer—it’s lovely there!

We're in a "white zone ": cell service is spotty, although Orange is performing better than the others.

We invite you to take this opportunity to put your phones aside and enjoy a break from the digital world!

You’ll be surprised at how much you’ll want to do it again :)

Of course, you’ll find Wi-Fi at the front desk, and routers are available in Marie-Antoinette, the Maison du Potager, the Appartement de la Tour, and the little house in the Pommeraie. 

Your pets are welcome in the park and in our vacation rentals.

However, we ask that you pay special attention to cleanliness and safety, as there are other guests on the property.

The cottage must be vacated by 11 a.m.

If you need to leave earlier, please let us know so we can make arrangements for check-out.

If you’d like to stay later, this is possible provided we don’t have another reservation for that evening.

The half-day rental rate is €100 for La Pommeraie and €60 for the other cottages, andallows you to stay until 5:00 p.m. while enjoying the house and the estate. 

Good news—housekeeping is included :)

However, we kindly ask that you:
👉 Clean the countertop, stovetop, and kitchen sink.

👉 Empty the refrigerator.

👉 Stack the used sheets in a pile (please leave the mattress protectors on the bed). 

👉 Sort your trash and take it to the recycling station.

There are several options in Magnac-Bourg:

• La Boucherie Limousine offers ready-made meals, catering services, and even a mobile rotisserie for hosting a méchoui. Tell them we sent you—you’ll be warmly welcomed!
